Cornerstone was the first Acquired Brain Injury Clubhouse in the world to recieve certification through the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD) in New York.

Cornerstone Clubhouse has been awarded two separate three-year Accreditations by the International Center for Clubhouse Development (ICCD).


People from Hong Kong, Korea, Australia, Denmark, Norway, Finland and the United States have come to visit us to learn how our Clubhouse operates for people living with the effects of an acquired brain injury.


Clubhouse International is multi-national non-profit organization that helps communities around the world create sustainable solutions for mental illness by developing and nurturing new and existing Clubhouses.

Dale Brain Injury Services has an international reputation as a leader in the field of rehabilitation for individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury. Dale Brain Injury Services Mission Statement is:

Founded in 2004, the International Brain Injury Clubhouse Alliance (IBICA) is a collaborative network

of Clubhouses that serves persons with brain injury and stroke through the use of the Clubhouse Model.

A Clubhouse is a community of people who have sustained devastating life altering events and need the support of others who believe that healing is possible for all. In this pursuit, IBICA promotes the development and strengthening of Clubhouses all over the world.

Originally founded in 1986, as the ONTARIO HEAD INJURY ASSOCIATION, O.B.I.A. is a charity dedicated to preventing traumatic brain injuries and to improving the quality of life for survivors of acquired brain injury, their families and the community with which they interact.
